25/3 - Youth 4 - Spencer 0 (1-0) - Town had the best of the first quarter with lots of impressive movement and passing but sadly no production in front of goal. The momentum seemed to shift towards Spencer for the second quarter with the defence on form and keeper Tom Willshere pulling out some fine saves. It looked like a certain lead was on the cards when James Bishop was pulled down in the penalty area, but Joel McCormick’s penalty was an easy height for the Spencer keeper to stop. On the 45th minute route one football dropped the ball into “Bish” in the box to tuck away the first goal. Within two minutes of the restart Bish got his second when he grabbed a loose ball in the area and put Town two up. Nick Bines added to the tally with a fantastic strike from the edge of the area (55 mins) and Bish got his hat-trick (75th min) from a goal-mouth scramble created by a corner and Jordan Simon’s header that appeared to cross the line but James Bishop made sure and got the credit.

03/03 - Youth Rushden & Higham 0-4 BTFC (0-2) - Town's Youth team put on an impressive display to bounce back from a mini slump with a good win over Rushden and Higham in the Northants Youth Senior League Cup. Bishop and Kempsell put Town two up in the first half. Gianfranco Amoroso was brought down 5 yards outside the box and Seb Klyen stepped up to score a superb free kick, curling the ball just inside the right corner. Enzo Carillo put the cherry on top with a forth goal in stoppage time. The win progresses the youth team to the quarter finals.
20/2 Youth - 10 men Robins go down 4-0 to Sileby Away
29/1 - Youth BTFC 0 - 1 Kempston (0-1)
- Town lost out to rival league title contenders Kempston going down 1-0. Kempston snuck a goal in half way through the first half and looked to shade the half on points. Town came back in the second coming close on numerous occasions but a strong aerial defence from Kempston mopped up a lot of the potentially dangerous attacks from Town. Kempston looked strong on the counter offensive but the Buckingham defence again soaked up the challenge.

13/1 - Youth - BTFC 2 - 0 Risboro Rangers (0-0) - Soggy conditions and with a strong wind made it difficult for both teams in the Berks and Bucks U18 Cup third round. The first half ended scoreless, despite 2 or three apparent "sitters" for each side. However Town started slightly stronger after the break but gained an advantage when Risboro's influential Captain Chris Astellwas carried off after a midfield challenge. Against 10 men Town were able to take full advantage and piled on the pressure. Rob Begley scored twice from close range and had several chances to take a hatrick denied only by outstanding goalkeeping efforts. Risboro did not give up and managed to apply pressure on the counter attack which meant Town had to play for the full 90 to be assured of a quarter final place (to be played 10th Feb).

6/1 - Youth - BTFC 5 - 0 Bourne End (3-0) - Andy Simmonds was on fire scoring a hat-trick. Joel McCormick got one and Jordan Simons the fifth.

3/1 - Youth - WIn 5-3 away against Cranfield Utd. Caught napping in the first 10 mins we made it hard for ourselves going 2 behind (Pen 2 mins & break in opne play 10) but got back to 3-1 at the break (Bines 30 mins) but Town always looked the stronger team. Second half shut up shop at the back and pressed forward with 4 well taken goals (Klyen 48, Brent 55, 66 and Kempsell 75min).

18/12 Youth team - 4-0 win over Bedford FC - Solid performance after so many weeks out - aided by a run out from first team "goal-meister" Joel McCormick's 4 goals puts U18 within 1 point of the top of the table Cogenhoe.

27/11 BTFC 4-0 Bugbrooke (3-0) The Under 18s put on a superb footballing display at ford meadow on Tuesday night running out 4 - 0 winners over Bugbrooke St Michael. Despite the slippery conditions, both teams played good football, but Town's midfield and attacking proved the difference with goals at 17, 30 and 45 mins from Bishop, Simons and Soetan to take a 3-0 lead into the break. In the second half, Bugbrooke put more pressure on Town but Matt Boad put the game to bed on 57 Mins after a triple-assault on the Bugbrooke keeper - who had a fine game keeping Town to just 4!

13/11 BTFC 5-2 (4-1) Long Buckby - Town had to work hard to prevent a comeback by Long Buckby but eventually ran out 5-3 winners. James Bishop put Town 2 – 0 up in 6 minutes with a goal from open play (4mins) and a penalty. Kyle Stimpson increased the margin on 23 mins when he jumped on a keeper error and tapped in. “Bish” got his hat-trick just after the half hour with another goal mouth conversion. IN the second half Long Buckby struck back within 3 minutes of the restart and on the 70th minute broke the off side trap to bang in a third. Excellent keeping from Carl Knox kept the Long Buckby tally at 3 and though Town had a goal disallowed but put the game to bed with their final goal from Sean Soetan on 90 minutes.

6/11 BTFC 6-3 AET Wellingboro - Town put on a stunning recovery coming from 3-1 down to win in the league cup tie against Wellingboro Town.Buckingham went one down after 18 minutes in a tightly contested first half. Injuries forced some changes in the Town line up but Nick Bines got one back after 50 mins. The Dough Boys struck back 10 and 20 minustes later with well taken goals and the tie seemed to be over. Substitute Sean Soetan put Town back in contention at 77 mins and in stoppage time Towns final substitute Sam Archer broke through to make it 3-3 within 60 seconds of the final whistle. Over the 90 a fair result! However the extra time Wellingboro's keeper aggravated a back injury and had to be carried off. As all their subs had been used this put Wellingboro to 10 men and although the stand in keeper pulled out some top drawer saves the fresher legs of Town overwhelmed Wellingborough with goals from Kyle Stimpson and Sean Soetan with two more giving him the hattrick.

4/11 Bedgrove Dynamos 2 - 4 BTFC - An even tussle had the deadlock broken on 40 minutes when James Bishop slotted in from close range. A minute later Jordan Simons headed in a corner to take a 2 – 0 lead into half-time. Town appeared to have the game under control until Bedgrove broke away and finished well to claw one back after 16 minutes of the restart. Both teams had chances but failed to convert until an electric last 15 minutes when Kyle Stimpson struck to be responded to within 7 minutes by a second Bedgrove goal. The closing minutes could have gone either way but James Bishop killed off the game in injury time running out 4-2 winners.

17/10 BTFC go out of FA Youth Cup - 2-1 Buckingham Town youth team had to travel to Oxford City to play their “home” FA Youth Cup (sponsored by EON) fixture after Town’s pitch was flooded.Town fielded a strong squad but went behind after 12 minutes when City’s John Gotch beat town keeper Carl Knox one on one. Kyle Stimpson equalised two minutes later with a header from a Nick Bines cross. Just a few minutes from time in the half, Kyle Stimpson took down a player in the penalty box and despite playing the ball was adjudged to have fouled. Although Carl Knox saved, Oxford City’s Mark Bell was first to pounce on the deflected ball. In the second half Town out shot Oxford City 12 to 1, had a penalty declined and outplayed the hosts but just could not find the elusive equaliser. Carl Knox was presented with man of the match sponsored by Buckingham and Winslow Advertiser.

4/10 BTFC Beat Bedford FC 2-0 lafter a 1-0 first half lead established by James Bishop. Enzo Carillo secured the game in the dying minutes after Bedford came very close to equalising but the balll was ajudged not to cross the line.
26/9 BTFC Youth beat Banbury Utd 1-0 (0-0) in a very tight game on Wednesday night to progress to the next qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup sponsored by EON. Despite a strong period from Town in the first half Banbury probably edged the goalless half but the strong wind influenced play. Town appeared more confident in the second half but could not convert their many chances. This did allow Banbury to counter but the defence and stand in keeper Tom Bradley did well to clear the danger. Extra time was looming when a blistering left wing run from Sean Soetan left the Banbury right back standing, and a superbly weighted cross met the advancing James Bishop who struck home with less than 5 minutes remaining.

13/9 BTFC Youth Away Vs Northampton Spencer 3-1 Win (1-1) . Superb opening strike from Sam Archer from 20 yards, Northampton equalised late in first half. Kieran McCabe took the lead back after 5 mins of second half and with 5 to go Kyle Stimpson hit the cross bar and James Bishop headed in the rebound. Town retain their 100% record inthe league.

4/9 - BTFC Youth Home Vs Brackley Tn 4-0 Win (1-0).
Town put on an impressive display in their 4 – 0 win over Brackley Town in the Northants Senior Youth League on Tuesday. Rob Begley put Town ahead after 11 minutes when he broke though on the keeper slotting home. Town had a hat full of chances after that but could not beat the on form Brackley keeper. After the break Phil Kempsall headed in from a corner (58 mins) and 2 mins later met a cross from Andy Simmonds to make it 3-0. Enzo Carrillo mopped up a fourth the in the 71st minute when he headed in Gianfranco Amoroso’s perfectly weighted free kick.

29/8 - BTFC Youth Away Vs Long Buckby 4-0 Win (2-0).
Town started well with Gianfranco Amoroso opening the season with a thundering strike from 20 yards after 13 minutes. 3 minutes later Zeesham Uppall struck home from the edge of the box. James Bishop started the second half with a goal in the second minute and later (76 mins) intercepted the Long Buckby Keeper's clearance and took it round him for a 4-0 final score.
